Happy SONday, everyone!! I hope & pray that everyone's doing very well this morning!
Well, the weekend is almost over, so it's back to work tomorrow. It's a good thing that I like my job! I actually still look forward to getting up every morning, Monday-Friday, and going to work! I don't know a lot of people who can say that.
I'm so glad that Summer is finnaly "over". It's suppose to be in 70's here for a good part of the week, but climb back up in to the 80's again by the end of the week. UHG!! I really can't wait for it to cool down a little. It's been so hot this summer. Don't get me wrong, I like the warmer weather, but enough is enough!! It feels so nice a cool this morning for a change! Stephen actually turned off the AC last night!! I hope to have it off a little more this week since it's going to be a little on the cooler side.
I have to do a little housework this afternoon. Stephen is going to the movies with his mom this afternoon, so I'll have some time alone to get some stuff done. Not to mention setting my clothes out for the week! That's a chore in and of itself! LOL!
Not much else is going on. I went out last night with a friend of mine. Needless to say, we didn't not end up at the driving range. The place we wanted to go, closes it's grass area at 4pm and closes the mats area at 7pm. Maybe if we had gotten an earler start, maybe we could have hit off of the matts, but what can you do. So, we just went to a local diner. The food was ok, but it could have been better. I had Chicken Alfredo. The chicken, sauce, and the broccoli was ok, but the noodles weren't cooked all the way. I really don't want to go back to that place again. They do have great breakfast meals, though!!
I'm trying to find a site for color codes. I want to change the color of my test in here, but can't find a color that I'm really happy with. Although, I like this color better than what I've had before. I'm just very picky when it comes to my site, you know. I just like to have it a certain way, you know?
Well, I should get in gear and get my day started. It's just after 9am. So, let me go see what I can accomplish for the day!
BTW...Coboys play the 49ers today! GO COWBOYS!!!!!!

September 23rd, 2005
Wow! I am SO tired!!! I didn't get the rest of the files that are sitting on my desk boxed up like I was hoping to. I had to get caught up on my eobs that I had left over from yesterday. For a grand total of 94 eobs for the week!! I was a busy little bee!! LOL!
I will box up the files on my desk on Monday after I'm done my mail for the day, which is only 95 pieces. I should have that done in the morning. Then, Tuesday I hope to pull and box up my large Spetember files. There are only 7 of them, so that won't take me too long to do. The rest of the week I will spend putting my notes in the system that the files are being sent to the warehouse. That takes the longest to do. But, hey, it gives me something to do while I'm on the phones. I can't complain. Other than that, I'm all caught up!
Tomorrow I plan on going over to the drving range with a former co-worker. It's going to be 76 degrees! Perfect for hitting golf balls!! And, maybe go to dinner. Other than that, I plan on taking it easy all weekend. I'm just feeling a little on the tired side.
I just might sit at the computer tomorrow or Sunday and play clean up. I have so many files and graphics on my hard drive that are just taking up space. Granded.....we have 111GB total space with only 10.8GB of that space used, but we will have a little more space if I get rid of some unwanted files.
Well, it's late so I'm going to get off of here and get ready for bed! Sweet dreams and see yas tomorrow! :o)

Good evening!
This week is flyn' by! I've been keeping myself busy at work, so that makes the time go by faster. I've always been the type that has to keep busy anyway.
Today I finished pulling all of my closed September files from my regular closed battery and hope to have the several piles of files that are on my desk boxed up tomorrow. Then, hopefully Monday I can pull my large September files and get them boxed up. I'm way ahead of schedule since this wasn't suppose to be completed until October 7th. I just figure, if I have the time, might as well get them done and out of the way. It really is amazing how I am able to get done since we are down one person and we have to split that extra work into 3. It's really not as bad as I thought it was going to be. But, I've just been keeping calm, cool, and collected! I've learned from my previous job and from when I first started this new job that you can't worry about things that you have no controll over. Because if you do, you are only going to make things worse for yourself and those around you. Just take one thing at a time. And, if you can't get to something, there's always tomorrow!
I also managed to get caught up paying my eobs, (kind of like medical bills) which turned out to be 21. It would have been like 40 if I didn't end up with ones that are pending. They can be done tomorrow. Probably right after I get back from lunch since I have to be on the phones for an hour. They won't take me that long to do, I did the 21 I did today in 35 minutes! I'm really so proud of myself and how far I've come along. I guess once I learned how to block out all the nonsense that was going on around me, everything came into place.
My Mail even hasn't been that bad! Which now that I am separating closed from open. That makes is go by a lot faster and makes it easier for me to find the file that piece of mail belongs to. When I get my mail in the afternoon for the next day, I date stamp it, set aside the mail that requires me to pull the file from the shelf, then I go into the system to look up every since piece of mail that I have to determine if it's open or closed.
Not much is going on the home front. Just getting a lot of rest latly since I need as much energy I can get for work. LOL! So, on that note, I'm going to get going. Have a good night! :o)

Happy SONday, fellow bloggers!
I was just thinking about the news coverage that yet someone else is trying to get the courts to rules that the Pledge of Alliegance is unconstitutional. Just because of the phrase UNDER GOD. I was going to go into this long drawn out things like reading these people "the riot act", but I really don't want to get started. You will be here for over an hour reading my post for the day!
Just know that I am a Christian and I think that just the fact that people are being allowed to "deface" what this country is all about is absolutly absurd! This kind of reminds me about last year when they ruled that the Ten Commandments were unconstitutional! First of all, how can the courts say that when the Ten Commandments are engraved on one of our government buildings in DC! They are not, allowed in government buildings, but they can be on them!? Please, someone has a screw loose or something!
Seriously, if you really don't want your child to say the phrase UNDER GOD.....talk to the school where your child attends and see if something can be worked out. Don't make this big ol' spetical out of it and "force" that VERY special phrase out of what is one of the most important documents in our nations history! That document is, what.. 200 years old! Ok, that's all I'm going to say before I really get going! I can write a book about all this, believe me!!
Anways, in other news! There's not much going on today. It's back to work tomorrow. And, since there will be a little more to do thank usual, I'm going to be getting plenty of rest today and going to bed early tonight. Not to mention that I have to set out my coffee so I don't forget that in the morning! Unless I just have Stephen take me to a coffee place that's around the corner from work. That might be easier so I don't forget to make it myself! I can be very forgetful at times!! LOL!
I plan on doing ALL of my laundry this afternoon. I washed the clothes that I mainly wear to work, but now that it's going to start getting cooler, it's time to wash the warmer clothes that I have. All I have to say is thank God our dryer has wrinkle release. Otherwise, it would take forever to iron all those clothes!! Somethings of course can't go in the dryer, so I have no choice but to iron those, so that won't be too bad.
I'm so loving this new look for my site! Although, my credit link to Jennifer's site kept disappearing so I had to use the logo that goes with this set. Which is perfectly ok by me! I just don't want the link to keep disappearing.
Stephen and his mom are going to the movies this afternoon. I have some more blinkies and stamps I would like to add, but I'm not sure yet. That's going to be a bit of a project and I don't think I have the energy to tackle that today.
I was talking to a friend of mine last night about how weird it still feels not having to work nights or weekends anymore. I used to work with this person, so he knows the entire drama that they put me through at my previous job. I told him that I will never go back to retail again. There isn't enough money someone could pay me to go back to working nights and weekends. He said that there is always enough money some where. I agree with him to a point, but I told him that it still won't be worth it to go back to any kind of retail job. It's just too stressful and now I know that I can do a lot better somewhere else. Where there is much more room for advancement, although I am very happy where I am at right now. That's not to say that I don't want to climb the latter or anything, I would just like to take my time and learn as I go. I don't want to rush into anything only to find that I went a little overboard, you know?
Well, I've rambled enough for rigth now! Take care and have a blessed day!

Hey bloogers!!!
This week got away from me fast! I've been looking for new graphics for my site since I just can't seem to leave things along. I came across the most wonderful site! Devotional Doodles! Jennifer did such an awesome job on her site! It was members only at first and then mid week I found that she changed over to linkware!! I was so thrilled because I've seen her graphics used on other sites and wish I could afford to get them. Please click below to go visit her! She had just what I was looking for! And, I am so happy with the new look! Thank you so much Jennifer making your graphics available to those of us who can't afford to by high quality graphics!!
OH! If you put your mouse over the ladybugs over to the side, they will scroll the page for you! I also got that code from Jennifers site!
I decided to change the font on my site, as well. It's an universal font that comes with every computer ( I think ). This way you don't have to worry about downloading anything. Sometimes that can be a little bit of a pain just to view someone's site, so this makes it a lot easier for you to view my site the way I intend it to be viewed.
It was a little bit of a busy week at work. A lot of mail to drop to the files. I had 369 pieces of mail for the week. Usually it's about 50 less than that. I don't mind, though, it keeps me busy. And, I've been getting all of my mail done in the morning that way I can work on keep the files on my selves nice and neat and in numerical order like they are suppose to be.
Monday afternoon I am hoping that I can start pulling my closed September files and archive them. But, since we are now down one person it might be a little hard to do. But, I have until Oct 7th to get September's files done so there really isn't any rush. That gives me 14 days to work with. No sweat! Besides, having all the extra work makes the day go by faster since there is always something going on. I'm the type that has to keep busy or I go crazy! LOL!
Well, I should get going. I have to upload everything still, and that takes awhile with Comcast since you can only upload one file at a time!
Have a blessed weekend!!

Goodness....what a week!
We will be loosing someone in the office! Yep, my former best friend. Her last day will be Friday! We are all a bit excited to see her go because of all the tension that she has been causing latly. I, myself, am extatic to see her go. I'm sorry to be like that, but I work in a professional office enviroment, and the way that Jackie acts and treats people are very unprofessional. Even our boss can't wait to see her go! Now, you know there's a problem when your boss is calling another department in another office to see when/if they are going to hire you and how soon can you start! It's pretty sad, if you think about it. But, I feel so much more relaxed and at peace knowing that we as a team won't have to put up with her shanigans anymore. I guess maybe if she didn't think that she was better than everyone else or tried to tells us that we had to do our files the way she did, then might be different. But, at the same time, it's kind of bittersweet for me because her and I used to be so close that I don't understand why she had to be the way she was. In the beginning, my boss went on vacation for 2 weeks. Well, to make a long story short, she ran to our boss saying "I don't think Carla did this," or "I don't think Carla did that". But, thankfully our boss saw right through it and told this woman that I was doing just fine.
On a more important topic, tomorrow will mark 4 years since the terrists attacks on America. Is it just me, it just doesn't seem like it's been that long ago. I have decided to close my site for the day marking the anniversary. It's just my little, way of remembering the victims of 9/11. This country had a rude awakening that day. And, while we may have done somethings about it, it's not nearly enough. First of all, we have to get those troops out of Iraq and put them somewhere where their services are better needed. I'm sorry, I was for this war in the beginning, but now that we have Sadam Hussan, we need to come home. The only one we really have to worry about is Bin Ladden, but I have a funny feeling that he's not even alive anymore. From the reports I've seen, he was sickly. Now, I'm not saying that we don't have to worry about terrorism anymore, that threat is always there. There will always be terrists groups. We never really know what the furture holds. I just think that it's time for Bush to bring our men and women home to their families where they really belong.
Today I plan on doing touch up cleaning. Stephen and his mom are going to the movies this afternoon, so that will give me some time to get a little done here and there. Mainly dusting and vaccuming. I've kind of learned this week that with a bunny runny around you basically need to vaccume every other day. He doesn't go to the bathroom when we have him out running around except for a few droppings here and there if he gets too excited while he's playing. He does drag some of the beding out from his cage. That's the main thing, the bedding. It gets everywhere! LOL!
Well, I should get off of here and get my day started. Have a very blessed weekend! :o)

September 6th, 2005
Is that a collective sign of relief I hear that the kiddies are finally back in school!? I was wondering was it was extra quite in our neiborhood! It's always quite here, anyway.
WOW! I have been a really great job with keeping up with my blogging! I'm so proud of myself!! LOL! I'm not going to spend too much time on the computer today. I just have too much to do. Mainly the cleaning which will take up a good part of my day since I take little breaks after cleaning each room.
Today is my last day off. It's back to work tomorrow. Atleast I'm getting a lot accomplished today. My house work is coming along nicely. It smells so nice in here, too. I was even able to open the windows a little bit! Yippee! Just to be able to let some fresh air in was such a blessing! Even opening the blinds to let the sun in was a treat! Stephen doesn't really like to have the blinds open. He thinks people are going to come up to house and look in or something. So, when I'm home alone, the windows are wide open!
Well, there's still some more cleaning to do. I really don't want to take long breaks. I'll start to slack off if I do that! LOL! I don't want to waste the day away, you know? I have to have a sense of accomplishment.
Have a great day!

HAPPY LABOR DAY, BLOOGERS!!
There's not really not much going on around here. Just sitting back and relaxing and enjoying some much needed time off. I've been doing a little bit of cleaning here and there. But, will save the "major" stuff for tomorrow when Stephen's not here.
So far I've only gotten my laundry together. I'm such a slacker! I put off doing the cleaning until absolutely the very last minute. But, it needs to be done. Kinda like a "spring cleaning" in a way!
Stephen and I are going over to his parent's tonight for hamburgers. Nothing else special, just hambugers. I really don't feel like going, but I guess I have to. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and they will have Bush's Baked Beans! I just love them! My fav is the one with onions.
As you can probably see, I've been tinckering with my site a little. Nothing real noticable I guess, just changing the color of my text and the borders. I would love to use a pink color for the text and borders, but I think that the grey brings out the grey in the main background and ties everything together perfectly. It seems like I'm obssesed with my site, but if you have a site of your own you know what I mean when I say that everything has to be perfect. You know how you like your site to be. Afterall, it's what let's everyone know who you are.
Well, football season is closing approaching and my Cowboys had an awesome pre-season! I hope that's a good sign for the coming regular season! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the Cowboys! They ave been my team since the early 90s and they will continue to be my team! And, I'm going to have so much fun with the people at work being that pretty much all of them are Eagles fans! LOL! I just think that the Cowboys are going to have an amazing year and hopfuly a trip back to the Superbowl!!! GO COWBOYS!!!!
I've been watching the continuing news coverage of the disater resulting from Hurican Katrina. It's just so sad that those people have faced and still face in the coming days, weeks, and months. Even years! I guess the only thing that we really can do is pray for them that God will give the peace and strength that they will need to get through this.
On that note, while you are with your familes today, remember how lucky you are that you are to have them in your lives. Have a great day!

September 4th, 2005
Good morning, bloggers! I'm blogging 2 days in a row, what's gonna happen! LOL!
I hope that you are enjoying this beautiful holiday weekend! I decided to exptend my 3 day weekend to a 4 day weekend and am taking Tuesday off. I need the extra day to clean the house.
Stephen and his mom are going to the movies this afternoon, so I'm going to get a head start on cleaning. Crank up my stero and clean to my heart's content! Atleast get the laundry together I have to clean when I have the house to myself, you know? I just can't clean with Stephen around. I've always been like that.
Not much else is going on. Just hanging out at home. Not doing anything special like going to the shore or anything. I wish we would, but what can you do. Stephen's a home-body. He likes staying home and watch his many upon many DVDs. I'm more of a reading person. Although, I haven't picked up a good book in quite some time. I should really get back into reading my Bible. I've been very bad when it comes to that. I'm not going to make excuses as to why I haven't been reading because there really aren't any excuses to make! I just have to get off of my lazy butt and start reading again. And, that's all there is to it!
I've yet again been thinking about redecorating in here. But, I just can't seem to find the kind of graphics that I am looking for. Don't you hate it when that happens? I would love to purchase some graphics, but I can't do that right now. I have to use the linkware. But, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I guess it's just hit and miss when it comes to searching for new graphics. I know what I want, but I don't at the same time. It's kind of like I will know what I'm looking for when I see it. I'm sure you know what I mean. Although, I just LOVE the graphics I have now. I've looked forever for these, too. I guess I can keep looking and if I find something new, I find something new. If I don't find something new, then I don't find it.
I know, I'm just rambling now. So, I guess I will get going.
Remember, Jesus Loves YOU!

September 3rd, 2005
Ok...I'm so not doing so well with keeping up with this blog again! What is it with me? I guess I just got out of the habit when I went back to work. I know..shame on me!
Have I ever mentioned how much I love my job? Not having to to work nights and weekends anymore still kinda bafles me! LOL! Not to mention the 3 day weekends! Seriously, there is so much room for advancement with this company! Unlike where I was before where you could stay in the same position for the entire you're with the company. But, there have been some bumps along the way. But, that's the learning process. Unfortuately I ended up loosing my best friend that also works in my office. I guess she just thinks that since she use to be supervisor at my previous job, that she should be the supervisor here and have things done her way. But, she's learning fast that she's not going to have her way, no matter how many times she may run to our boss trying to tell her how things should be done.
I would like to talk about the crisis down in the Gulf Coast as a result of Hurricane Katrina. I'm so livid that this situation was not handled better. The government waits 2-3 days to send rescuers! How obsured is that! People are starving! They had no water, no food, not to mention dying! And, they are just taking their good old time getting down there! I feel so very bad for those people. My heart just aches for them. Everything they have ever worked for is gone. EVERYTHING!! It really does make you think about how extremly lucky you are to have what you do have. Do me a favor, if you think that you aren't where you would like to be in life or if you wish you had a little more money or a better house to live in, or even a better job....think of the people who just lost their jobs, their homes, and in some cases their entire families. You really aren't as bad off as you think. Things can be worse.
We collected cases of bottled water at work. Some one came from the National Guard to pick them up to be delivered to the Gulf Coast. I'm going to talk with the guy who asked us to contribute on Wednesday when I go back to work because I thought of some more things that we could collect. Things like clothes, nonperishable food, etc. We also donated $250! Which really doesn't seem like a lot, but if you think about that money means the world to those who will benefit from it!
Well, I should get going. It's getting kind of late. Take care and please have a safe and healthy Labor Day weekend! See yas soon! I promise to try and not stay away so long this time!
Remember, Jesus Loves YOU!
