Waoooooo!! SOUL PATROL! SOUL PATROL! SOUL PATROL!

I'm SO thrilled that Taylor is our new American Idol!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE his new single "Do I Make You Proud"! He has a great career ahead of him and I can't wait to see what he has to offer!!! The finale show was great! And the "awards" was just too funny for words!!!

Anyway, not a lot has been going on. I just haven't had the desire to sit on the computer for a while. To be honest, I don't have the desire to sit on the computer for hours on end like I use to. I guess that I don't have the energy once I get home from work.

The weather has been great the last week or so! In the 70's and 80's. And, it's going to stay that way through the holiday weekend! YEAH!!!

Well, I guess I should get off of here and surf Walmart's site for a bit so I can get an idea of what I am looking for when I go out tonight.

Hello, strangers!!

Sorry I haven't posted for a week or anything. Things were just a little hectic at work. I had to box up my April closed files and stay a day ahead in my mail and work on a bulk bill.

Anyway, I'm still shocked at the fact that Chris got the boot Wednesday night! And, I'm sorry......Elliot in the top 2? What's wrong with this picture people!!! The man destroyed those Elvis songs!!! But, I'm still thinking about Taylor's performan of "Jailhouse Rock"! I hope he goes all the way. I'm not even going to talk about Kathrine except to say that she should have gone home a few weeks ago. But, what can you do.

Tonight we are going to Lonestar for Mother's Day. They have garlic mashed potatoes now!!! Yummy!! Now if I can only decide if I want steak or their grilled chicken! LOL!

I'm looking forward to my days off Monday & Tuesday. I have to get some cleaning done, though. But, it'll be nice to have the house to myself all day for 2 days.

My allergies have been giving me a hard time this week. It's like all the pollen is flocking towards me!!!! I can't breath out of my nose not to mention that it really hurts my chest to breath in and out! I've been taking N-Quil the last couple of nights to help me sleep, but nothing seems to be helping me besides that.

Stephen & his mom went to the movies. So, Stephen's dad is going to stop by here to pick me up and then we're all going to head to Lonestar.

So, I guess I should make this short for today.

TGIF!!!!!!!!!

Well, well, well.......no surprise on American Idol Wednesday night. I'm glad to see that Elliot was FINALLY in the bottom two! I think he may be the next to go. I'm so thrilled that they are singing Elvis next week!! Taylor will be so GREAT at that! I would like to hear him sing "Jail House Rock" & "Love Me Tender". I was thinking at how neat it would be if he came out dressed a little like Elvis! Alteast have one blue suade shoes!!!! I can easily see him in the final two!

Not much has been going on. Just the same old, same old. I have off the 15th & 16th of this month, so I'm looking forward to my 4 day weekend, or as I like to call it my "mini vacation"!!
I plan on getting another spring cleaning in those days.

Ok....I should get going. I have a little project that I just thought of like I would like to get done while I'm just sitting here waiting for the phone to ring. Have a great weekend!!

LORD, THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL DAY YOU HAVE GIVEN TO US TODAY & EVERYDAY! WE ASK THAT YOU FORGIVE US OF OUR SINS & GIVE PEACE TO THOSE WHO ARE GOING TROUGH ANY TRIALS & TRIBULATIONS. MAY THEY HAVE PEACE KNOWING THAT YOU WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MORE THAN THEY CAN HANDLE.

LORD, WE KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALWAYS THERE FOR US WHEN WE NEED YOU THE MOST. ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS COME TO YOU THROUGH YOU BELOVED SON, JESUS CHRIST! WHAT A WONDERFUL PROMISE YOU MADE TO US WHEN YOUR ONE & ONLY SON WAS CRUCIFIED SO WE CAN EVERLASTING LIFE WITH YOU IN HEAVEN!!!

LORD, WE PRAY THAT YOU BE WITH OUR TROOPS AS THEY CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM. AND, BE WITH THEIR FAMILIES AS THEY AWAIT THEIR ARRIVAL HOME. AND, BE WITH THE FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST A LOVED ONE. MAY THEY HAVE PEACE KNOWING THAT YOU ARE THEIR TO COMFORT THEM IN THEIR TIME OF NEED.

LORD, BE WITH THOSE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM MEDICAL CONDITIONS. WE PRAY THAT THEY BE COMFORTED IN KNOWING THAT THEY HAVE YOU TO COMFORT THEIR PAIN. THANK YOU FOR THE DOCTORS WHO ARE TREATING THESE PATIENTS. GIVE THEM THE KNOWLEDGE TO KNOW WHAT IS THE BEST TREATMENT FOR EACH CASE.

LORD, WE PRAY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LOST LOVED ONES. PRAISE GOD THAT THEY ARE WITH YOU IN HEAVEN IF THEY KNEW YOU AS THEIR SAVIOR!

LORD, THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING YOUR WORD TO US SO THAT WE CAN LEARN MORE & MORE OF YOUR EVERLASTING PROMISES. AND, TO LEARN WHAT YOUR WILL IS FOR EACH AND EVERYONE OF OUR LIVES!! MAY WE OPEN OUR HEARTS MORE TO LEARN NEW AND WONDERFUL LESSONS THAT CAN ONLY BE TAUGHT FROM YOU LOVING WORDS!!

Hello, bloggers!!!

I hope that all is well with everyone!
What beautiful weather we are having this week!!!
I wish we had our patio now instead of getting it in July, but they are booked solid now through July. I can't wait to get home and open our windows to let the fresh air in!

Correction with my last post: it seems as if Hank didn't passaway at the office like we were told. He was at the gym during lunch when he suffered a massive heart attack. The service will be held Saturday morning.

Tomorrow is National Day of Prayer!! Yeah! So, tomorrow will just be a prayer post.

Tonight is our food shopping night and I hope that I stick to not getting any junk food. I've been getting ice cream, but that's it. I really don't consider that to be junk food, though. I know that you ladies are going to hate me, but I up to 105 from 100 and it shows!!! I had Stephen put our snack bags of Doritos in a cabinet that I can't reach so I won't eat 2 or 3 in one day. I have to cut back, it's not healthy. So, I will be getting more tuna fish so I can make my maccaroni salad tonight. I love that during the summer! That, and egg salad. So, I guess that means that I will have to get more eggs, too!! I have't even been drinking soda like I use to, I've been drinking Iced Tea....decaff.

I have to get some cleaning done this weekend. I have to sweep the drapes. Our fur baby, Snowball is maltling like crazy It seems like there's rabit fur everywhere!

American Idol was interesting (in a good way) last night! I just love Taylor! I can't believe he made himself fall on stage!! That was such a perfect song for him, that and that Beatles song he sang. I'm hoping that it's Elliot and Paris in the bottom two tonight. It's time for both of them to go. I'll be REALLY disappointed if neither one of them is in the botttom two. Just as long as Taylor isn't of of them! I think that it could be Chris and Taylor in the final two. Atleast I hope so, anyway! I did have a tough time getting through for Taylor, so hopfully that's a good sign.

Well, I guess I should get going. I only have 20 minutes left on my lunch hour and there are a couple of things that I would like to get done before 1 when I have to get on the phone.

We lost a beloved member of our AAA Mid-Atlantic family yesterday. The manager for our Edison office passed away in their office of what we were told of a heart attack. Please say a prayer for his family that God will be their source of strength during this difficult time.

I started reading Jesus, the One and Only by Beth Moore yesterday. I only read the first chapter, but will have to go back and re-read it again. Each chapter is only a few pages, so I find that it will be easy for me to go back and read each chapter over.

Not a lot is going on today as usual. Tonight I plan on making steak for dinner with mashed potatoes ! We really aren't a veggies with dinner couple. LOL!

I can't wait to see American Idol tonight!! They have to sing something from the year they were born and from this week's Billboard Top Ten Chart! Should be interesting! I hope Taylor picked songs that will allow him to show off his dancing !!

I was just reviewing yesterday's post....did I have the gift of gab yesterday, or what!?! That's been happening a lot lately!

Well, I guess I should get off of here. I have a few loose ends to tie up while I have some free time. Take care & God bless!!

MAY DAY

WOW......can you believe it's May already!?! A sure sign that summer is on it's way!! It's going to beautiful all week with the weather! In the 70s!! I'm so excited!! I just love this weather!!

The work week is off to a good start so far! Not a whole lot going on, seems like it's going to be a slow day for the most part. I do have 76 pieces of mail for tomorrow so far, but that's nothing, really. I worked on the first 30 earlier in the morning and I have other 46 ready to be droped in their respective files after I'm finished with this post.

I decided that I'm going to put away A Woman After God's Own Heart for now and start reading Jesus, the One and Only by Beth Moore. I got it off of Billy's Graham's website for free a couple months ago. I just can't seem to get back into reading AWAGOH right now. I actually got a lot of great books off of his site. He offers something free every month. I can't wait to see what he is going to offer this month!

Well, I went out shopping over the weekend. I didn't find anything that I really wanted on Saturday, but I went back out yesterday and got a new pair of pants (brown) and a white shirt with spaghetti straps. I actually found a pair of 4 petit pants! But, when I got them home they were still a little too long on me ! I'm telling you, I can't win! But, thankfully since I wear heals, they are ok. It's just funny and nerve recking that a pair of petit pants are a little loner on me. I guess I should design my own pants so that I know the length is the way I like!!! LOL!

I re-backed up my entire site onto my zip disk yesterday. I had my site saved on my desktop, too, but not the entire thing. So, I decided to take it off of my desktop and just have it backed up on my zip disk. It's just easier for me that way for some reason. I tried to copy and save everything from the disk to my desktop, but it wouldn't let me save it to my desktop for some strange reason .

I managed to get all of my laundry finished yesterday! YEAH!! But, I only got some of my outfits picked for the week. I just don't know what to wear sometimes! I guess I need to save up some more money and do some new clothes shopping in a couple of months!! I moved all of my turtlenecks to the back of my closet yesterday. I really need to go through the boxes we have in the closet to determine what needs to be kept or what can go. It's not clothes, just a bunch of other things. I guess that will be a project for the week I'm off in July!

Well, I guess I should get back to work (eventhough this is my lunch hour!!) Take care & God bless!!
