HAPPY EASTER, BLOGGERS!!!

I'm still fighting with my allergies. I slept pretty much all day yesterday. Didn't get out of bed unless I had to. I'm still so worn out and tired. I woke up a little early this morning. Only because I slept all day and all night yesterday.

I've been following the Terri Schivo case very carefully. I can't believe that husband of hers won't let her have Holy Communion for Easter. She did recieve her last rights and communion right before her feeding tube was removed 9 days ago, but still.....it's Easter! There is just something about that man that just rubs me the wrong way. It's in his eyes. Whenever I see him or a pic of him on the news, his eyes just creep me out. I think that it is such ashame what he is doing to her.

Work is going great! I actually look forward to going to work in the morning! Unlike when I was at Diamond Furniture, when I dreded going in in the afternoon. Now I have a "normal" job! I don't have to put up with rude people all day or a lot of noise! It's so quiet in the office! I'm not use to that yet. Probably won't be for a few months. I'm just so use to it being so noisy, that having all this peace and quiet is a little bit of a shock to my system! I can actually here myself think! Not to mention being able to concentrate on what I'm doing and not be interupted! I'm also still getting use to have an actual lunch break! No one bothers me! I'm like WOW! I keep waiting for some one to ask for help on something. Although, I've been going out for lunch a couple of times.

I pretty much have my dels set up the way I want it. I'm telling ya, it's so nice having my own space! I shared working space at my previous job. No one goes in my cube without asking first.....it's so nice! I have things set up so it's easier for me to do what I have to do and work faster! I wish I could take pics and share them. But, I think that everyone would think that I'm a little on the crazy side! LOL! I have it decorated with cows! Like you even had to ask, right! I'm still working on a tissue box cover that has a white background with a pink cross in the middle. Very cute! I'll be working on a cow one for later when I get settled in more.

Well, I should get going. Stephen and his mom went to the movies. And, his dad will be back in a while to start getting dinner ready. My mom is coming up later, which will be nice so I can kick her butt in rummy again!

Well, I have made it through my first week as a AAA Mid-Atlantic employee!

It is so nice to finally have an office job! I'm still getting use to where everyone else sits. But, other than that...I'm holding my own. It's not a hard job to learn. It's just knowing how to tell the difference between the folders and who works with those folders. Lots of names to remember for them. But, I'll get the hang of it. Everything is really a lot easier than I thought. I'm like is that all there is to it?! YEP! Everyone is really nice and asking how I'm doing. I even made a new friend! She is so nice. I love the hours! 7:45 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday! Can't beat that!

My allergies have been bothering me for two days now. My nose feels like it is going to explode! When I got home yesterday, I changed right into my jamies and after dinner around 6 took a nap and woke up just after 11. I didn't know I was so tired! I guess I still need to get use to waking up at 6 in the morning inorder to get ready for work.

Not much else has been going on. I think I'll stay in my jamies today. I'm not up for much of anything today. We were going to go to the movies, but I'm really not up for it.

It's going to be in the 60s pretty much all next week after Wednesday! I love that kind of weather! Although..I prefer the 70s and 80s! The office is so hot! So I really have to pay attention to the weather so I can plan my outfits accordingly. They have the heat set so high that it feels like Hawaii! No kidding!

Well, I have to do somethings online. Hope you all have a very blessed weekend! And, if I don't get a chance to hop on here tomorrow........HAPPY EASTER!

Hey there, bloggers!

I hope that everyone is doing well this afternoon.

I just got the call that I will be starting my new job tomorrow. YEAH! I'm so excited! Now, the question is what do I wear for my first day! LOL! I'm so picky about these types of things. I have my outfits for the set out already, so it's just a matter what to wear first. You really should see me trying to put the outfits I picked out in the order I want to weat them! I'm like ARRRRGGGG! LOL!

But, I'm ready to go back to work. I had a nice break off and now it's time to go back. You know.....these last 6 weeks went by SOOO fast! Now that I'm thinking back on it, I'm like where on earth did the time go!? The time just flies by way too fast these days. It's already the end of March already!

Eventhough today was the first full day of Spring, it did not feel like it. It started off pretty mild, but as the day went on, it just got colder. BRRR! I'm ready for Spring! BRING IT ON!!! Infact....forget spring....bring on Summer! OK........that might be pushing it a little. Hey....a girl can dream can't she! :o)

I was watching CNN last night. I feel so bad for Terry Schivo. I really do. What her "husband" is doing to her is ashame. But, I also think that the government has no business getting involved in a family dispute. But, someone has to stand up for Terri. See, I believe in the sanctaty of life. Do I hate seeing Terri suffer the way she is, of course. But, making her starve to death is even worse. I just feel like this man really isn't focusing on what Terri would want. He's with someone else and has kids with this other woman. Why can't he just sign over the rights to her parents? The last time her feeding tube was removed, she went without food and water for 6 days and who knows how long she'll be without this time, if it's decided that the feeding tube should be put back in. That's the worse kind of punishment. I don't know if I would like to live day in and day out like Terri, but who really knows what they would want if something like that were to ever happen to them? It's such a touchy subject.

Well, gotta get going. I want to make sure that I have everything that I need ready to go. I don't have as much time as I would like to have inthe morning to get ready, so I have to do everything at night.

Good morning, blogger friends! :o)

It's gloomy and rainy here this morning. Aleast it's not snow! Don't get me wrong, I love the snow, but we had enough of that for the season! Time for SPRING! I can't wait for the flowers to start blooming! I plan on having lots of flowers in our garden this year! But, no more roses. They don't do so well for some reason. At first they do, then the bugs start getting to them. We thought of getting some kind of spray for them, but we don't know what kind of spray to get that won't kill them.

Anyway, I can't wait to start my new job! I already have my clothes set out for the week! I did get to do some shopping the other day! I got 2 new pairs of khakis and 2 shirts. Actually, one can be considered to be a blazer, but it's really not. It's a denim shirt that has snaps instead of buttons. Really cute. The other shirt is is all white with tiny pink and black poka dots. It's sleevless with some frabic hanging from the sleeves. All 4 are from Faded Glory. I just tried doing a search on Walmart's site for pics to share with you, but couldn't find them. Oh well. I just might go through my clothes again to see if what I have set out is what I really want to wear for the week. I did that the other day and changed my mind on a few things. I might have to again because it's going to be warmer this week than I thought.

I also want to do some touch up cleaning tomorrow while I still can. I still have to dust the living room. It will only take me like 10 minutes, so I dont' know why I have been putting it off. That will be my thing to do for the day, then! Dust the living room! That way, tomorrow I can concentrate on whatever else has to be done.

I've decided that I'm not switching over to cows for my site. A good friend of mine gave me that advice.....Thanks Pam! :o) I do like the ladybugs, too! So, the ladybugs are here to stay! Yippeee!

Well, I've been up since 9:25 and it's alreay after 10, so I should get off of here and see what needs to be done. I also have to get some things together that I want to set up in my cube. Hubby is going to take that in for me and give to my best friend so she can finish setting up my cube for me. She's so good to me! She said that when I get there I can rearrange things to wear I want them to be. She's was so kind to offer to do this! Things are going to be a little hectic with me being trained, so I won't have time to set up my desk just yet.

Happy St. Patty's Day, bloggers!

Are you wearing your green today? I'm actually wearing a tan shirt, but I do have emerald jewlery...that counts!

Hope is well, today! It's so gloomy here in New Jersey today. Which puts me in the mood to just lay in bed all day and be lazy. But, I have things I have to do today, so I certainly can't do that. Oh well.

I have to go in and sign all that new hire paper work, they require blood work to be done, and then there's shopping. Well, maybe shopping. I have to see how much time we have. I hope to get a little done, just to get me out of the house for a while. But, I also need to get back as soon as I can so I can finish the laundry. Need clean clothes for the new job! LOL!

It's going to be so weird having an office job. I've been in retail ever since I started working, so this is all new to me. Only having to work day hours and having off nights and weekends. I've never had that before. I'm almost tempted to call my former office manager telling her the good news! But, I'm going to restrain myself! Plus, I don't have to wear an uniform anymore! I can wear my regular clothes! That's a HUGE plus for me! I have so many nice things that I couldn't wear before. I'm so doing a happy dance! LOL!

I've been looking for new graphics for my site, but I just can't seem to part with these ladybug graphics! They are just too adorable! I want something country, though. I'll have to see what I can find. Who knows, I might want to go the cow route this time around. After all, I do LOVE cows more than anything! :o) That's what I'll do, then......COWS!!! There, now I have a project for the weekend! Now, where to get the graphics from!

Good morning!

Hope all is well this mornin'!

Well, only a few more days of freedom and then it's back to work! I have to start getting up at 6 am so my system can get use to waking up that early. I woke on time this morning, but just laid in bed, so the plan was foiled! LOL! I'll be a good girl tomorrow and Friday and actually get out of bed! It really shouldn't take me too long to get ready. I guess it depends on how I feel when I wake up. Some mornings, I feel like being a little sluggish! But, then again, don't we all have those mornings?

So, I have a few things that I would like to do around the house before I have to go back to work. I know I just cleaned and all, but tidy up a little. Like organize everything. I put things in order before, but I just want to go through everything again and make sure everything is where it should be.

I also would like to go through my closet and start picking out my clothes for the week. Ladies....you know how it is when you just don't know what you want to wear. Well, since my time in the morning will be limited.....I'm just going to set out my outfits for an entire week! Problem solved! This will eliminate me standing in my walk-in closet trying to figure out what to wear for the day!

I'm really looking forward to this new venture of my life! I just have all those anxious nerves that come along with starting a new job where you really don't know anyone. But, I will have my hubby and my best friend to work with! How cool is that! Not that many people can say that! I think what I am going to have to get use to the most is working with Stephen. But, everything is going to work out just fine. I know it will!

I almost forgot that I changed my adoptions around a little bit. I condensed them so each page would have 25-30 adoptions on each page. I just thought that it looked a little crowded with 20 some pages on my adoptions index page Pages 15 and 16 are the news to be added to my ever growing family!

Well, I guess I should go so I can start getting somethings done around the house. Hope yas have a wonderfully blessed day! Take care!

Howdy!

Gee...an entire week has gone by already! I've been doing A LOT of cleaning around the house over the past week. I'm wiped out! I've cleaned the walk in closet, which ended up being an all day affair. And, then I cleaned under the bed. That didn't take as lond as I thought it would. All I have to say about that is THANK GOD! LOL!

Oh! And, some good news on the job front...I got a job offer today from the company that Stephen works for! YEAH! It's about time, too! I thought they'd never call me! I will start either Tuesday or Wednesday. Plus, I have to go in on Thursday afternoon to sign all of the paper work.

We are getting ready to celebrate our rabbit's 1st birthday this weekend! Snowball is so cute. I have to tell ya...I wish I had his energy! He runs around here like a crazy person sometimes! It's like, where does he get it from?!

Not much else is going on here. I found this really cool book online that is about each book of the Bible. It's in PDF format. It's called Adventureing Through the Bible by Ray C. Stedman. Each book is seperated, so luckly you can print them out as you go through each book of the Bible. If you would like to have it, just click here. If you want to print them all out at one time you can do that, too. I really don't suggest that because it's 419 pages if you do it all at one time. But I'm giving the index page to where you can print them out one at a time. Enjoy!

Well, gotta go I have to start getting up early so I can get use to it! I'm not use to having a normal office job! Can you imagine, Monday-Friday, 7:45am-4:00pm, off Saturdays and Sundays! Yippe! Although, I am going to miss my breakfast buddy and those yummy chocolate chip pancakes and french toast. But, it was fun while it lasted. But, gotta make the money, ya know!

Hey there, bloggers!

Well, it's the complete opposite of yesterday in the weather department. Yesterday was a very mild 60 some degrees and today the temp is going to keep falling from the 40s, heavy rain all morning, then start snowing sometime in the afternoon. UG! I guess this means I can't open my windows like I was able to yesterday! LOL! It was nice being able to do that in the afternoon. Just to air out the house for several hours.

Not much really going on today. I'm staying in my jammies again today. I might clean up a little again. I've been in this mood of wanting to clean all the time. What's up with that!? Although, I haven't been able to get to the dusting yet, so maybe I can get that done this afternoon. I'll see how I feel. Today might be a day like all the others....a day of lazyness! But, na.....it has to be done. So, I'm just going have to get off my lazy butt and do it!

I also might make some cookies. Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies. Oh, they are so yummy! My aunt and grandmom maked them all the time for the holiday dinners and such. I could almost taste them now. Yeah, why not make them? Afterall, they chocolate! What girl wouldn't want some chocolate to snake on a glummy day like today!

We ended up having baked ziti for dinner last night. It didn't turn out like it usually does. I felt bad. But, nobody's perfect. I would like to have either french bread pizza or meatloaf tonight. I'll have to check with hubby to see what he would like.

Well, I should stop blabing! I can do that sometimes, you know! Once, I get going....look out! LOL!

Good morning!

What a day! It's aleast 60 degrees! It's REALLY nice out right now. I like this kind of weather. Well.....more like 75 degrees with a nice warm breeze. Anybody know where it's like that all year round!? Sign me up!? LOL!

I made some more calls about some jobs and later I'm going to hop back on here and look through monster.com too see what, if any job opportunities are around. We did find in the paper a clerk for a vet hospital. It sounds nice. I love animals, so I feel like I would be in my element, but I don't think I could handle when someone's pet dies. That would be a little hard for me to take in day after day. We'll see.

Anways, I should get off of here and get some things done. I don't have a lot to do now, but I want to try and straighten up a little. And, figure out what to fix hubby for dinner. I'm thinking meatloaf. Yummy! :o)

Howdy!

What a nice day today! The sun is out and the weather is going to be even better tomorrow. Almost 60! Wahooo! Looks like Spring is just around the corner! Although, they are calling for some possible snow by the end of the week. I think they said Thursday into Friday. But, it's ok. I like the snow. At the same time, I can't wait for the warmer weather. One more snowfall is ok with me!

The movie was really cute last night. They of course lived happily ever after. I just LOVE movies with a happy ending! Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

Stephen did this major upgrade for our computer yesterday while I was away. I think it was the Windows Service Pack. No problems afterwards. All I have to say about that is, THANK GOD! The computer seems like be moving a little faster to me. Although, Comcast did just upgrade their servers, too. Now, out cable internet is even faster! I would not go back to dial up to save my life!

I'm thinking of going through my favs and deleting sites that I don't go to anymore and catorgarize the ones that I do decide to keep. That'll keep me busy for a while!

Now, that I have something to do, I'll talk to yas sometime tomorrow. I have LOTS of phone calls to make!

Good afternoon!

Man......I'm so tired! My friend, Jackie called me this morning at 8 am and wanted to take me out for the day. We ended up going to Northeast Philly to the Franklin Mills Mall. It's huge in there! I'm so tired from all that walking around! We walked the entire mall, no kidding! I got back just about 2:30.

And, tonight is date night for hubby! YEAH! We haven't been out by ourselves in months! Stephen's boss gave him 2 VIP passes! Wasn't that so nice of her!

I got some more adoptions today! And, will be getting more this coming week. This batch coming will be my last because I'm almost out of space on Comcast already. I didn't realize how close I was to my limit. Of course, I could always set up a new account just for them. Hubby is going to have to help me with setting that up, though. I would love to be able to keep adopting! We'll see!

Anyways, I'm going to go take a little nap so I can rest up for the movie! Take care and have a blessed weekend!

Good morning!

The sun is already up and shining away! Just how I like to start my day, with the sun coming in through the window! Kind of makes me feel like it's going to be a good day! :o) Which is always a good thing!

Tonight might be date night for hubby and myself! We would like to go see the Wedding Date. We didn't get a chance to see it last weekend like we wanted to. It looks cute. It's a romantic comedy...just what I like!

How do you like my new sig tag? I her got from Bibbens Country Home. Isn't she adorable! Anyone who has ever known me, knows how much I LOVE cows. I must have atleast over 30 stuffed cows, and a really nice collection of Mary's Moo Moos! Not to mention all the cow things I've collected! So, you can see why I had to have her! I love her curly dolls, too! I have collected quite a bit of them, as well! Just like everything else!

I couldn't even tell you how many adoptions I've collected. Well, I could, but it would take some time! LOL! Plus, I just finished adding 2 more pages! I'm so addicted! Aren't there groups for this?! LOL!!! I just can't help myself, though! Everytime I see a cutie, I have to have it! My lastest discovery has been those adoption webrings! I girl can get into a lot of trouble visiting all those sites! LOL!

Well, I have decided to stay off of this computer and clean house! Another thing I wanted to do earlier in the week and didn't do. But, I'm doing it today! Pop in one of my CDs and get to work. Of course, that requires me to get dressed and I really don't want to! I need to get the house work done, though. It's such a nice feeling after the house is all done. The important thing for me is that it smells clean, too.

Well, it's still early so let me get going. I want to finish up getting things done around the house while I still have the energy to do so! LOL! Because if I don't start again now, it won't get done! LOL!

Good mornin', all! Hope that all is well! :o)

I have a busy day ahead of me today. Out to put in more applications. I'm also still waiting to hear from Stephen's office to see if I got the job or not. Last I knew she was going to call me yesterday or today to let me know if I got the job. But, now I found out that she's going to be interviewing a couple more people and getting some one from a temp agency. I sure hope that this works out for me, though. We had a good feeling about it before, but now we're not so sure. Now, I'm probably going to have to settle for something I really don't want to do.

Yesterday was my phone interview with the unemployment office. My previous employer was on the phone. It was so horable, I don't even want to talk about it. I'm just like are you people kidding me! So, I will get unemployment's desicion next week as to wether or not I'm eligible for benefits.

Anways, it's just going to be one of those days where it's just doing a lot of running around. I really don't feel like doing all that today. Just not in the mood. But, I guess it has to be done. I can keep putting all my eggs in one basket. I just don't want to settle for the first thing that comes along if it's not going to pay just about where I was before. The bills still have to be paid!

I added a couple of things to my site yesterday! Verse of the Day and Proverb of the Day. Just click on VOTD and POTD. I was so proud of myself when I figured out how to do that border around them! Looks really nice. I'm also going to be adding a section that has the Ten Commandments. I remembered last night that I had them on my previous site. So, why not have them on this one, too!?

Well, I have to twick my index page a little. I want to try out a different font. Something smaller and that I can work with when I add more sections.

Good morning!

Hope that all is well with every one today! :o)

It is so windy out today! Geesh! I'm going to fall right on over as soon as I step out the door if I go out! LOL!

As you can see I changed the backgrounds on my a little. I think it warms it up. Last night, Stephen was like aren't you finished yet!? HA! He cracks me up! LOL!

This morning umemployement will be calling me to give me a little "interview" to determine wether I'm entiled to receive benefits or not. Although, I heard that Diamond Furniture wasn't going to fight giving me the benefits. Well, have to see. Because who knows if this information I am getting is accurate anyway. You can never tell. So, I have to stay off the phone all morning. YIKES! Well, they gave me a time and said that I have to be sitting by the phone at 10 am because that's when they will be calling. But, the paper work we have states that they could call anytime after tha up until 12 pm. Hopefully they will call early. I would like to go out for a nice breakfast.

Not much else going on really. Just kicking back and relaxing. I think that I'll clean either this afternoon or tomorrow. I could even split the work up into 2 days. Yeah! That's what I'll do! Make things easy on myself! Don't want to do everything all at one time, now do I?

I have to work on a page of adoptions and get those uploaded sometime today. This will definatly be my last for a while. I should really start up on my Bible Quilt again. I've been a bad girl and haven't worked on that for a couple of weeks.

Good morning!

Well, I've been a busy bee first thing this morning! I added a questbook to my site. I was playing in Bravenet for the last 2 hours trying to get this the way I like it. I just have to figure out how to put the credit link for the background. That would be nice. After I'm done here, I'll go do that.

I also got all of my poems uploaded! So, I just have to fix a few links for that and I'll be all set. I've decided that I'm still going to keep that password protected. I'm so glad that's done. Relieved is more like it. Took me long enough! LOL!

Well, it's the begining of another month! Where does the time go!? It seems like yesterday we were celebrating the new year!

I should get going. I have such a headache from staring at this computer all morning. Besides, I have to do a little cleaning! I mainly want to dust (which is my least fav). But, it has to be done.
