Well, it's the end of the weekend. For some reason, this weekend has went by too slow for my taste. I guess because I look forward to Monday's and starting a new work week. Yes, you read that corrrectly, I like Mondays!! LOL!

The people we have doing our patio, did the did out yesterday. We didn't even know that they were coming. About 9 yesterday morning, we hear a couple of loud thuds. We thought that is was Snowball, our rabbit, thumping his feet. But, when Stephen looked out the back door, they guys were breaking up the concrete slab that came with the house. Thank God that hidius thing is gone. Anyway, our contractor said that the patio should be completed by Tuesday or Wednesday. Truthfully, I doubt that it will be done by then because we are expecting rain for the entire week.

I don't know what's going on with me, but I have not been able to pick up my Bible and read!! I feel so discouraged over it, too. I remember when I use to read every single day. And, now, I'm lucky if it's only a couple of times a month, if that!! Well, I have off all next week, so I hope that I can get my act together by then to sit and read for a while since I will have the house to myself.

I would like to work on my site a little but, I'm not sure. I'm working on a new layout with different graphics, but I'm not sure yet if I'm going to use them. I'll have to see. Although, I have tons of adoptions that I have yet to add to my site that have been sitting in my hard drive for months waiting to be uploaded. It's a bit of pain because with Comcast, you can only upload one image at a time. YIKES!!

I'm looking forward to my week off. I have to clean house, and I have a couple of projects that I want to work on. I would like to go through my side of our walk-in closet and get rid of what I don't need or want. There's a few boxes that I'm afraid of what could be hiding in there!! LOL! Plus, clean under our bed. It's so dusty! It's amazing at how much dust this house can collect!! I'm going to do 2 rooms a day, so I don't have to rush to get it done.

I do have a lot to do at work this week. I have to 1/3 of Stephen's work, since he won't be there (the other 2 will take 1/3 third to do as well). For those who didn't know, yes we do work together... in the same department...of the same company. It's pretty cool and we save lots on gas by going to and from work together. Besides some of Stephen's work, I have to get my June closed files boxed up to be sent to the warehouse in a few weeks. It's not due to be done until sometime next month, but I like to keep as much ahead of myself as possible.

Well, I guess I have rambled enough for today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!!!

It feels so weird having to going to work yesterday to having off today, to having to go back to work tomorrow. But, it's nice having a day off to relax and get some extra rest before tomorrow. I'm going to be extra busy the next few days. Like I said I'm pratically going to be doing the job of two people. But, I have most of my mail finished for tomorrow, so it shouldn't be that bad. I just have to worrry about getting my mail done for thursday and friday.

Stephen & I went to see "Sumerman Returns" on Sunday.....all I have to say is.......WOW!! If you haven't gone to see it yet, I'm begging you to go see it soon! If you loved the originals, you'll love this!!!!! I can't say anything about it because my big mouth would give TOO much away!! LOL!!

Stephen's parents are suppose to be coming over for a little barbeque, but the weather looks like it's not going to cooperate. We are under a sever t-storm warning. Atleast they have a large George Forman grill that they can bring just incase. We have been getting some pretty nasty storms over the last couple of weeks. I'm talking about thunder so loud and hard that you feel it in your gut!! The rest of the week they are calling for t-storms.

Well, I guess I should get off of here and get my shower before the storms hit. If I don't stop in the rest of the week, have a great week!!!

Ok.....it might be just me, but it doesn't feel like it should be July already!!! Christmas will be here before you know it and that means yet another year older for me.

Things have been pretty busy for me at work. As always, I'm keeping a day a head of myself with my mail. I started on doing the archiving of my closed June files. Just the larger files that are in those brown acordian files and the UCJ files. I plan on having the other smaller files boxed up b4 my week off (the 17th-21st). I have some other duties this week that will probably keep me from getting those files done. Gina, the girl who does the checking in of the mail and handing it out to the adjusters will be on vacation. So, I will be responsible for all of the outgoing mail. I like running the mail through the stamp machine!! LOL! Stephen's off the week of the 10th, so I'll propbaly be able to get my files done then because there won't be much more that I'll have to do besides doing some of his mail.

We've been getting so much rain over the last week or so. Luckily we live in an area that doesn't get flooded. Our back yard does look like a mini swamp with all the puddles, though!

Thankfully next week is a short week. We have to work on Monday. For some reason they aren't giving us that day off. But, it's ok. Hopefully it won't rain on Tuesday so we can use our grill again! Take care & God bless!!
