Ok.....where did this month go?! Doesn't it seem like time flies by way too fast these days.

I decided that I'm going to keep my blog enteries archived. I've never done that before, but I think it might be nice for my visitors to be able to go back to if they wanted to.

And, yes......I managed to upload yet another 2 pages of adoptions this morning! I have 1 more page in the works as well! I'm so obssesed! If I see a cute little critter, I just have to have it!

I should get on the ball and upload my poems pages. I'm kind of dreading that because I can only upload one file at a time. That's the ONLY downfall to having my site on Comcast. But, the benfits out way that one by a long shot. It will just be a bit time consuming to have to upload everything one at a time. But, patience is a virtue!! And, it's going to be worth while when I get them all on here. I don't know if I mentioned it before, but I have written just over 360 poems! I can just imagine the look on your faces right now! LOL!

Anways, Stephen's office closed early because of the snow. Last night they were calling for 10-15 inches for our area, then we woke up this morning and they changed it to 3-6 inches. I knew that they were blowing this all out of proportion. They said that it was going to be blizard conditions all afternoon. Now, it's just light flurries. Later in the morning it was coming down pretty hard. Big, beautiful snowflakes. It was like that for an hour than it calmed down.

Well, I'd better get off of here. Things to do!

YIPPEEE! FINALLY!!!

I am all finished with getting my poem pages upgraded! Took me all month, but I got it all done! I'm so proud of myself and have this feeling of accomplishment! I started working on them on the 4th of this month, took a little break because things were a little hectic when I had a job. Then started them back up last week and viloa....I FINISHED!!!

Now, all I have to decided is to keep them on Yahoo, or upload them all to here at Comcast. I'd rather upload them here because Comcast doens't have ads, as to where Yahoo has those ads on the sides now. They just mess up the pages that way. So, I guess I will start uploading sometime tomorrow.

I still have to work on adding yet another 2 more adoptions pages. I'll do that later in the week, too.

Good mornin'! :o)

Well, did I have a busy night last night! I added 2 more pages of adoptions! I am so obsessed! I just can't seem to stop adopting!

And, I still have to finish getting my poems updated next week. I've been putting that off with all the other things I've been doing. But, they really can't wait any longer. They HAVE to get done by the end of next week. I don't have that much to do. I only have to do 2 more "books". I think that adds up to about 222 poems left. That might sound like a lot, but all I have to do is change the backgrounds, the font, and the font color. So, it's doable. It might take me a few days if that's all that I work on. of course I lost my paper which has what colors and backgrounds I was using, but that's ok. That's why I can view the source of my others to get that info. They all look same. It would be way too time consuming to have each and every poem have different graphics. When finished, I would really like to have them set up like how I have my site now. that would look so nice. I just thought of that, too!

Not much else going on. Just a day of relaxing and taking it easy. I'll work on those poems a little today while Stephen is at the movies with his mom.

Good afternoon! :o)

Hi there! Hope that all is well with you today! :o)

Updated the look of my site a little bit with the borders. I always loved how these kinds of borders gave a site that extra country looking touch. So, last night I figured out how to do it for my site! I might have gotten away with it a little bit, but I happen to like how it looks. I don't know yet if I'll put the border on every page or not. I might. You never know with me!

Anyway....I had a little of a phone interview this morning for AAA! Stephen works there as a Claims Service Rep. I'll basically doing the same thing as he does. I'll even been in the same unit as him! That'll take me a little time to get use to. So, they will call me next week to let me know what the HR department says.

Wednesday is also my phone interview with the unemployment office. That should be fun. I say that because some one from Diamond Furniture has the right to be on the phone with us at the time. I have the same right as well, so my MIL is going to be coming over early that morning and stay on the phone with me so they don't try to take advantage of me. Which I won't let them do. They can try all they want, but it's not going to work. I think I can win my case.

Oh! Guess what I found today......that's right...... more adoption shoppes! I'm so addicted, it's not even funny! This is why I had to index my pages! LOL! I think the better word here is obbsssed! Nothing wrong with that, though! I've seen sites have ten times as much as I do!

Well, remember yesterday when I mentioned that we were going to be getting 4-8 inches of snow? Well, guess how much we ended up getting. Only just under 2 1/2 inches! I love these weather reports that say we are going to get these HUGE storms and nothing comes from it. They are saying that we are suppose to get a Nor Easter Monday into Tuesday. I have a feeling that nothing is going to come of that one, too. Just a hunch. Just like deep down I knew that we weren't going to get a lot out of this last one we just had yesterday.

Anyways, I'm off to go to visit some of those new adoption shoppes that I found today!

Good afternoon! :o)

Well, we are getting one heck of a snow storm today! They said we will probably get 4-8 inches by tomorrow morning. Then, we are getting another one Monday into Tuesday! Don't know how much from that one yet. I love the snow. It's so pretty!

I added yet another page of adoptions! But, if you didn't already notice, I indexed my pages. I thought it would make for easier navigation since my collection keeps growing more and more everyday. I have two more pages that I am working and hope to have them up sometime tonight or tomorrow. Stephen's office is closing early because of the snow, so I'm thinking not until tomorrow. But, who knows, I could manage sometime on here for a while tonight. Keep your fingers crossed! LOL!

Not much else going on. Just working on my site yet again. I guess a site is never finished because there is always something you can do to jazz it up a little. I wish I could find a different kind of midi file for the background music. I'm thinking something with a little bit of jazzy feel to it to match the ladybug theme.

Good morning! :o)

Well, it's off to breakfast this morning! Yippe!
Now.....what to get. Chocolate chip pancakes or, french toast. Maybe I'll just get both! Na..just kidding!

Not much going on around here. Cleaned my kitchen yesterday. And, moped the floors and vacumed. I would like to tackle Snowball's (our precious bunny) room. That could use a good cleaning. He loves his cardboard, let me tell ya! LOL! He has so much in there it's not even funny! Most of it he doesn't even play with anyway! So, why keep it in there! Too much cluter!

Tomorrow I think I'll tackle the dusting. That's my chore for tomorrow. There, now I have something more constructive to work on besides sitting at this computer all day "twicking" my site! LOL! Like I really have to do anything else to it!

I was playing with different graphics for my site a few days ago and really got no insperation. No matter what I tried.....didn't seem to strike me so for now the ladybugs stay! I just thought that since I love cows so much that I could do a cow theme but trying to find could cow graphics that are linkware has become a bit of a challenge for what I'm looking for. I want to keep the country theme, though. I'm sure I'll figure something out sooner or later!

Well, I guess I should get off of here for now.

Good morning! :o)

Uploaded some more adoptions this morning already! Didn't I say a few days back that I'm going to stop for a while? But, I am waiting for some more adoptions, so after I get those, then I'm going to concentrate on something else. I don't know what....but I'll find something. You know me.....always working on my site! LOL!

Oh! I finally got my site backed up! In 2 places actually! On my hard drive and on to it's own Zip disk! Got that done last night! I'm so proud of myself! Can you tell!

You know what I would REALLY love to do is possibly work on a pro-life section of my site. That has been on my heart ever since before I moved my site here to Comcast. I've always been afraid to because I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but at the same time this is MY site and I should be able to have anything like that on here if I choose to do so. I understand that others don't believe the same as me, and that's perfectly alright with me. But, this is something that I feel strongly about and anyone who truly knows me, will understand why I feel so strongly about being pro-life. You can see the My Faith section of my site. There's not a lot of details there, but I think that you will get the idea.

Not much going on today. I should clean. I might have company tomorrow to watch a movie. Ever see Bruce Almighty? Oh that Jim Carey really cracks me up! His movies are too too funny. I didn't see his last one, though. That did kind of look a little cooky to me.

Have you seen the ads on Yahoo/Geocities sites? What in the world is that all about?! The adds on on the side now? And, they stay there even when you click on it to hide it So, which means I have to move all of my poems over here to Comcat. I'm updating them on my hard drive now, so as soon as I get them done, I'll upload to here. They only take up just over 1MEG of space, so that's not too bad. I only have 363 poems! So, uploading them here to Comcast is going to be a bit of a pain because you can only upload one thing at a time! ARG! You should have seen me upload everything here to Comcast for the first time! LOL! The good thing is that when I'm finished updating the poems and have them uploaded, they'll be done.

Well, I should get off of here. Time to get a cleanin'! Plus, I think hubby would like to come home to a freshly clean house today! I feel so good after I clean. Everything is in it's place and it smells so good in here!

Howdy! Hope all is well today! :o)

Geesh....it's cold out today! I want Spring time! I want 75 degree weather with a nice warm breeze I really don't think that that's too much to ask for, do you!? LOL! I'm not picky....REALLY! hee hee hee.

I added some more adoptions last night and this morning. I can't stop! I can't help myself, they all just so cute! Speaking of which, I discovered yet another adoption shop! Yippee! I should head over there now. There's LOTS of cuties there! I was going to catorgize everthing, but I have so many adoptions that it would take me forever to get that done.

I called a few places for jobs this morning. Nothing to get too excited about, though. I would really have a hard time getting to them since I don't drive. I know the LORD has a perfect job for me somewhere. It's just a matter of having a little patience. Which is really hard for me to do sometimes. LOL!

Well, let me get going. I have to do the dishes before hubby gets home, plus I have to make a phone call to a place I put an app in last week. I hope that turns out because I would really like to work there. When I was in to pick up an app last week everyone was so polite. Which makes to be a good working enviroment, you know? Good morning!

Hope that all is well with everyone this morning!

Well, I ended up NOT going to see the movie yesteday. I added two more pages of adoptions instead! And, I have more coming this week! After that I'm going to stop collecting for awhile because I have a little surprise to work on! I'm so excited! I thought of this yesterday! Of course mum is the word! Cant' talk about it just yet! So, don't even try to make me talk! LOL!

I think today I will be a day of relaxing. Stephen and his are going to see Constatine this afternoon. There is NO WAY you will get me to see that kind of movie! Oh how I can't stand any kind of horor, or thriller movies! Give me a comedy, romantic, or romantic comedy any day and I'm a happy camper! Once in a while you can throw in a good drama and adventure flick. I can be so picky sometimes, can ya tell! LOL!

I might actually get dressed today, too! I haven't gotten out of my jammies in two days! What's the point?! I wasn't going anywhere anyway! I've just been sitting back and relaxing and taking it easy. And, I'm still trying to process how my former employers can be so dishonest like they were. They must really think I'm stupid. I was one of the best ones there and they knew it!

Oh well, I know in my heart that I did the right thing by calling the NJ Labor Board. And, just as long as I am happy with it then that's all that should really matter, right?

Good morning!

Well, it's my first weekend off in like ages! I'm just going to sit back, relax and add some more cuties to my site! I love getting into adopting again. I sure do miss my other cuties. Who knows, maybe one day they will find their way back to me! One can dream, right? But, they got lost when Topcities took everyone's site down and I didn't have anything backed up like I should have. I know...how stupid of me!

So, I guess that's what I'll be doign today. That and a movie. Stephen wants to see Hitch with Will Smith. I think it's look a little boring, myself. I really don't care about seeing it to be honest, but whatever. I rather see Wedding Date with Debra Messing. But, he doesn't want to see that one

Good afternoon!

Today I added a second page of adoptions! This is so much fun! Plus, I have more on the way. I also added some more stamps to my stamp collection.

I haven't done anything else with my Bible Quilt. I might want to upload what I have so far. The only thing I'm concerned about is the fact that I'm going to have SO many quilt pieces that it's not going to look right having all those pages. So, I was thinking about just doing verses from the New Testament. That way it will only equal out to having about 5 pages for the quilt. Maybe I can even do the book of Psalms. Afterall........that is my fav book from the Bible. It would be ashame to leave that out. But, at the same time, I have a seperate page with my fav verses from Psalms.

Everything else is going ok. Just sitting back and relaxing and enjoying this much needed time off. I feel so much more relaxed now that I know that I never have to go back there and put up with how they treat their employees. It's really ashame how they do treat everyone. I feel bad for the ones that are still there.

Well, I guess I should get going. I've been one this computer all morning! Besides, I want to see what else I can come up with to add to my site. I have a few more ideas running through my head on what I can do. :o) See ya later!

Well, I had a busy week! I think I need a vacation! hee hee hee! Tuesday, I went out to fill new job applications. Then, I sat by the phone yesterday waiting for some one to call, but they didn't. I really didn't expect them to anyway!

I was also on the phone pretty much all morning yesterday with the unemployment office to file my claim to get the ball rolling on that. They kept me on hold forever! All I have to say is thank God that we have all these free anytime minutes on the cell phone! If I used our home phone, the bill would have been outrageous!

Today I uploaded some of what I have so far in adoptions! Trust me......I have more, but I have to put them on a seperate page. I don't want to have too many adoptions on one page, it'll look overcrowded I think. So, if I have to have multiple pages to show off my newest additions, than so be it. And, I want to say a special thank you to all the adoption shops for letting me take good care of their precious babies! I promise to take good care of them! They will ALWAYS be loved very very much!

I also started working on my Bible Quilt. That's going to have to be multiple pages as well. I didn't realize how many verses I was going to use! Plus, I still have more to look up! I was thinking that since the quilt squares are a pretty good size to start out with, just have like maybe 20 pieces per page How does that sound? I'll have to check it out when the time comes.

I was just thinking about how I was suppose to be at work right now. But, I'm so glad that I'm not. I was walking around the house this morning talking to a good friend of mine and looked at the clock. It said 10:18. I was like gee I'm usually getting ready for work by now. I got such a peaceful feeling and I felt so relaxed knowing that I didn't have to go back there anymore and that part of my life is finally over. I have noticed how much more relaxed I am. I'm looking at it this way. I came away with a few really good friends. And, that does mean a lot to me.

Well, I guess I should work on either my Bible Quilt or my second page of adoptions. I'm on a roll today! Have a blessed day! :o)

What a night! They let me go from my job last night! Yep....you read that right! They told me that I have been making too many mistakes lately and it's basically causing too much stress in the office because everyone has to go behind me and "fix" my "mistakes". They claim that this has been going on ever since I've been there and just can't deal with it anymore. WHAT! ARE YOU PEOPLE KIDDING ME! That company is so full of it that it is just flat out laughable now. Who do they think they are! If I've always been making these mistakes, then why did keep me there for the last 2 1/2 years ?!

The said that the reason that they kept me on for so long was because I was dependable! Well, DUH! Because no one else can show up for work like they are suppose to! I was the one who use to go in on my days off and go in early and stay late! And, they have the gull to tell me that I work substandardly!!!!! I don't think so! They only did this because I stood up for myself and said, no you're not taking my money away from me! They don't like it when people tell them that they are wrong and their employees aren't going to be treated like that anymore.

I was in such a good mood when I woke up yesterday, too! I kind of had that feeling like they were going to do this after I talked to the guy at the labor board. I just had that feeling. And, I voiced my concern about that to the guy and he basically agreed with me that it would REALLY look suspicious if they let me go after all this.

See, I called the NJ Labor Board on them a couple of weeks ago. ( I don't remember if I mentioned that or not) Anyway, They wanted to charge me back $500.00 because I check I took back on Dec. 15th, 2004 that bounced. That's just the tip of the iceberg. They say that I didn't follow proper procedures for getting a manager to approve the check. But, that's still no excuse to want to charge me back! How am I suppose to know how much a customer has in their bank account? And, correct me if I'm wrong....but isn't that why companies have insurance.....to cover bounced checks?!

But, I held my head high and walked right out the door. I didn't say goodbye to anyone or anything. I just left. Why give them the benefit of the doubt?! So, it's going to be a day of making some calls for me. And, possibly go out job hunting. Have to see how I feel. I just might want to stay in and collect my thoughts and just relax. You know? I just have too many things going through my head right now and it's just a little overwhelming right now.

Everything else is going ok. I just think that so many doors are going to be opened for me now. I have an opportunity to make something of myself now! And, this place was holding me back. It's a new season for me, so please say little prayers for me if you don't mind.

Stephen & I exchanged our gifts last night since we both have to work today. I'm so spoiled!!!!! Here's what he got me: A Valentine Beanie Baby bear holding a rose A Valentine Beanie Buddy A Hallmark Bear w/chocolate A stuffed cow (love my cows!!) A cupid necklace & earring set w/diamonques And, The Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack.

I got a few other things too from his mom: A couple pairs of Valentine socks A pair of cow jamies Mary's Moo Figureine

I got Stephen the CUTEST cupid bear from Hallmark and a DVD (Shark Tales)

I really don't feel like working today. It's all rainy and cold today. But, today feels like it's going to be a good day for me I woke up in a good mood this morning, so we'll see how it goes Afterall, I still have to get to work.

I started writting down the verses I want to use for my Bible Quilt page. I have A LOT! I do need to find some more quilts. I have a bit of a collection now, but I could always use a few more! I can't wait to get it done.....it's going to look so nice! I actually could probably start working in that tomorrow since I have off the next two days. And, hopefully start getting those adoptions I put in for so I can work on that a little bit.

Well, I should get going. I want to straighten up a little before I have to leave for work.

Good morning!

Hope this finds everyone well this morning! It's a cold one here this morning! BRR! I really can't wait for Spring and Summer! My favorite time of year!

Work was pretty crazy yesterday. I'm telling ya...... sometimes it just feels like I can't do anything right. Everytime I make a mistake anymore I get told about it like I'm 5 years old or something. I hate it when people do that. I have to say that that is my biggest pet peeve. I'm 27 years old......treat me like one! How hard can that possibly be to do!

Well, tomorrow is my early Saturday! So, Stephen and I are going out for Valentines' Day dinner since I have to work on Monday. We might do the usual Lonestar. It's a nice restraunt. We always have a good time when we go.

As you can see, I added 2 more links to my site. Adoptions and Bible Quilt. But, neither one are working right now since I have to start working on them. I'm waiting for some adoptions, but I still have to start on making the Bible Quilt. That is more than likely going open uo in a seprate window so I can use a quilt rack. So, I guess, that's where those two stand. I'll be sure to let you know when they are ready for viewing.

Good morning!

Well, it's a rainy day here in Jersey today.

I didn't get anything done over the last 2 days. I just basically stayed in bed. I had no energy left at all. I guess all the nonsense at work is starting to catch up with me and is taking it's toll. I really can't wait to get out of there. There has to be something better for me out there somewhere. There just has to be. You know?

I didn't go out for breakfast yesterday. :o( My breakfast buddy was just getting over the flu and wasn't up for going out. There's always next week. So, I just stayed in bed and then I worked on the enterance page to my poems with the graphics I got from Kacy. It turned out really nice! Too bad I couldn't use all of the graphics.

I was thinking of starting up a Bible Quilt section to my site. What do you think? I've been wanting to do that for a while now. But, never really got it started. I have to look at all my fav verses and see what stands out. I have so many quilt squares, it's not even funny! LOL!

I'm also starting to collect adoptions again. I pretty much lost everything from my other site, so I have to start from scratch. It's ashame, too because I loved the adoptions I had before. But, now I have learned my lesson and have my entire site backed up on my hard drive and I will be backing it up on a zip disk sometime this weekend. Although, I seriously doubt that I will have a problem loosing my site with Comcast. They have excellent service and they are always upgrading to faster speeds!

Good morning!

Happy Tuesday! :o)

Stephen has the flue. YIKES!!! He's been sick since Saturday. He didn't go in to work yesterday or today. Poor guy. He's really got a bad strain, too. His dad had it first then gave it to Stephen. Pretty much everyone that I work with has the flue as well. So, I'm waiting for it! Yesterday I actually started to feel something coming on. Even the customers who came in were sick! I'm surrounded! HELP!! All this because of the flu vaccine shortage. Luckly Stephen's mom was able to get it. She's one the few who qualified to get the flue shot. I don't like needles at all, so I'm not all that disappointed that I didn't get one. Although, if I catch it, I'm probably going to wish that I did, huh?!

Well, I'm suppose to have off today and tomorrow. But.....someone called out in another store. So, they are sending my office manager down to that store and they want me to come in and work for her. Another problem is that one of my coworkers went home sick yesterday 45 minutes early, so she may not be coming in today. Which, if I don't go in they will only have one girl in the office that I work in. On a transfer day! I really don't want to go in......I'm worn out to the point were I don't even know where I am getting the energy to type this. Litterally! They said that they would call me back once they find out if this other is going to come in or not. She probably won't considering that she calls out everytime she gets the sniffles. I don't understand her Well, they can't force me to come in. So, I'm not going. There..I've made up my mind!

There's so much I have to do today! Clean house! Oh joy. I just might do the light stuff for the day. Like vaccume and mop the floors. The dusting can wait for another day!

I just got the call that they don't want me to come in. Then why on earth did they call me to begin with and wake me up! This is why I have stomach problems. Because these people can't make up their minds about what they want people to do.

Good morning!

What a day yesterday! It seemed like it was one of the worst days I've ever had while I've been working there.

I found out that my fav salesperson got transfered to another store. It's such ashame because he was the ONLY one who took the time out to come back and say hi and to see how we was doing and to thank us for our help for the day. If I could tell you the whole story I heard from my co-workers as to why he's really at another store, you'd be just as livid as the rest of are. Let's just say that one person ruins it for everyone. So, it's a bit weird not having him there to talk with.

Then, to top that off, the company wants to try and charge me back for a bounced chech that I took all the back on Dec 15th! In NJ, they are legally NOT allowed to charge you back. They keep claiming that they do, but they can't. So, I got on my cell with the guy from the Labor Board. He told me that if I have any other problems, don't hesitate to call him.

I told them that it is illegal for them to do this and that I did contact the Labor Board. Then, of course, they try to be all sweet about it and tell me that they are going to try and get the money from the customer. But, at one point they tried to threaten me and tell me that they could fire some one over this and that I have to pay up or be let go. WHAT! You just can't imagine the day I had yesterday because of all this.

I have to go to work today. Can't you tell I'm excited! I just have to go in and learn how to ignore the salesperson who is responsible for the other being transfered. Because it just is not fair that this person is getting away scott free and the one who stood up for themselves is the one who got transfered. It's a sad, world we live in and unfortunately, money makes it go around.......no matter who gets hurt in the process. But, I'll tell you one thing. I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around. So this person will get their's!

Well, I should start getting ready for work. I have to be there by 12:30 today. Just please say little prayers for me that I will be to put all this behind me and have a better time concetrating on getting my job done and then go home at the end of the night.

Good morning!

Well, it's back to work today. Oh joy! I really hate working there. I really do! But, for right now it's a job. It's a stinky job, but, it's a job.

Anyways, went out to breakfast again yesterday! Had french toast again. It was ok. Not like I usually have. Atleast the company was good as always! That's the most important part to me anyway!

Yesterday after I got home, I was so bored. We usually hit a movie since we don't get to breakfast until later in morning. But, something came up and we couldn't do a movie this week. So, my MIL & I figured out how to get my voice mail on my phone! See, the phone I have was my FIL's. But, they were able to get me a phone as well with the family plan that Cingular offers. So, I have my very own phone! I've had this phone for about 2 months now. It's nice having my own phone for a change. Makes me feel a little more independent! Before my FIL's voice was still on the voice mail, but we figured out how to my voice on instead of his! So, that's what I did all afternoon, played with my voice mail. LOL!

Well, I have to start getting ready for work. PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO!!!!!!
