Good afternoon!

We got A LOT of wind and rain from Ernesto Friday into Saturday! I loved hearing the sound of the rain, though. The rain as always meant to me that God is cleaning everything to start fresh. Kind of like making everying new again. It's SO amazing how God uses the "rain" of our daily lives to make everything new and better than it was before. I know I wouldn't be the person I am today if I hadn't had gone through the rain that I had to go through in my early days. So remember that whatever the rain, there's always a rainbow on the other side!!

Well, it's going to be a little bit of a crazy week at work. I think I mentioned in my previous post that they are installing new computers this week for everyone in the office. 19 inch flat planel! Yippee!! Brand new everything....computer, moniter, mouse, keyboard, everything! Hopefully they won't want to do the ones in my unit first thing in the morning because we have to input the 24 hour losses that's coming in over the 3 day weekend. They do mine in the afternoon, atleast I'm hoping that's when they will do mine. I would just like to get it done and out of the way, you know?

I also have a lot that I would like to get done around the office before we have to go back on the phones starting next week. The 4 weeks have flown by so fast!! I have to do my archiving for my August closed files. I did my large August closed files last week to give me a head start. I only have to do the regular sized files which should only take me a day and a half. Thankfully there's not a lot to do. I also have to check to make sure that there are no misfiles in my files or anything. I'm going to be wiped out by the end of the day on Friday! LOL!

Anyways, not much else is going on on the home front. Stephen just left to go to the movies with his mom. SO, I have a little down time to get a few things done around the house. Atleast vaccume. I added a few more themes to my site this morning. I have more that I would like to get done, but I need a break! Besides, I picked on making my own plastic canvas patterns again! Hubby picked me a 24 multi pack of sharpies the other day! 24 brilliant colors!! I'm so excited! They work perfectly for my patterns, too! I just thought of a pattern that I would love to do, so I made a little sample pattern if so I don't forget.

I am SO excited about the football season starting!!! The Cowboys won the first 3 of their preseason games and tied the 4th. Hopefully the winning streak will continue into the regular season!!! GO COWBOYS!!! Most of the people in the office are Eagels fans, so it's been fun picking on everyone! But, I can't get too cocky for if/when the Cowboys do loose a game. I have a Cowboys desktop and a football cusor all set to show my team suppport!!

Well, I guess I should get off of here so I can get the vaccuming finished! Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend!

Wow....the first day of September!!! I love this time of year! It's going to start getting cooler soon and the leaves are going to start changing to those beautiful reds, oranges, and yellows! I can't wait! Plus I'm now looking foward to wearing my winter clothes again. :o)

Looks like we are going to have a very rainy next few days. What's left of Ernesto is heading our way, and I hear it's still packing a bit of a punch! We actually had a tornado watch for our area a few nights ago! You should have seen me, as soon as I walked through the door when we got home from work, I started packing up a few things and took them down to the basement just incase we had to get down there in a hurry. I even had Snowball's carrying case in his room ready to go incase we had to crab him in a hurry, too. He so would not have liked that one bit! LOL!

Well, I now have 15 themes for your viewing pleasure. As you can see, I added to the drop down menu for the themes. The list was starting to get so long that I felt like it really didn't look right. So, this will keep everything compact just the way I like it.

A busy day of work is ahead, I have to to my mail and a third of Stephen's mail for Tueday. I have to work on my archiving for my August closed files. I have EOS to do, subro files that have to indexed and sent to subro. I also have to finish backing up all of my files for work as we all will be getting brand new computers!! I didn't know that we leased the ones that we had? I'm glad we have a three day weekend.....I'm gonna need it by the end of the day! LOL!

Sometime over the next few days, I would like to get a couple more themes finished. I have to learn to upload one theme at a time as I get them done. It becomes too time consuming if I don't.

Well, I guess I should get off of here. Lots of things to get done!
